Job Description:
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our excellent team at Peckham Springs and Bar Story. Both venues have been at the forefront of Peckham’s nightlife scene for the past 16 and 6 years respectively and are renowned for their high-quality and affordable cocktails, great atmosphere and independent ethos.
The role would suit someone that already has experience in busy venues with multiple bars and is looking for the next step up. We have a strong following of local regulars and are very proud of our place in the local community.
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the performance of all bars and to ensure that the standards of service are maintained. You will play a crucial in supporting the General Manager and the Directors in delivering all financial KPIs.
The Assistant General Manager will play an active role in team recruitment, customer service standards and stock control and management, help to shape the business by bringing new business and maximising revenue.
The ideal candidate will have: • Strong organisational skills • A creative approach to maintaining operational profitability and problem-solving • Good numeracy skills including financial acumen • Ability to manage and motivate a large team • Proven experience in a high-volume environment • A commitment to outstanding service and drinks delivery • Good cocktail knowledge and general drink knowledge • The ability to develop new menus and bring innovative operational improvements • An ambition to develop within the hospitality business if this sounds like the job for you then don't hesitate to Apply Below
