The Peckham couple behind Kanpai, London's first Sake brewery are set to open a Sake tap room in Copeland Park, Peckham this month.

Duo team Tom and Lucy opened their Kanpai brewery in Peckham in early 2017 after receiving the support and much needed funds via a successful crowdfunding campaign.

The Kanpai Peckham brewery which makes Sake - an alcoholic Japanese rice wine, made by fermenting rice is now expanding its operations by opening a Sake tap-room. The couple are turning to the crowding funding platform once again, with a new campaign asking backers to pledge money to help them make the leap to larger premises so people can come down and taste the sake. In return backers will recieve various rewards such as Kanpai branded glasses, t-shirts, bottles, launch party tickets and a brewery tour.

The new brewery is expected to soft launch during Peckham Festival, 14 to 16 September.
