This trendy Peckham restaurant is situated in a former warehouse block on Blenheim Grove, a stones throw away from Peckham Rye Station. The space is split in two parts. One side dedicated to the bar with a forward thinking wine and cocktail list from artisanal producers, including house-made blackcurrant leaf vermouth and rosemary pisco sours. The second space is a mid-century modernist style dining area serving a menu focused on contemporary European food - inspired by the new wave of casual bistro dining in Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona and beyond.

Levan is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will include freshly baked and seasonal pastries and savoury tartines topped with the likes of house-cured salmon, goat’s curd and pickled elderberries. Lunch will cater to working lunches with dishes like potato, chanterelle and Vacherin pie; a salad of figs, candied walnuts and Tymsboro goat’s cheese. Whist evenings will be small inventive plates like smoked pollock with spinach, asparagus and vin jaune; and 50-day aged rump cap, with wild garlic aioli and grilled calçots - sharing plates range from £7.50-£16.50. The menu changes regularly as they only use in-season produce.

The whole place has a low-waste philosophy, where they aim to reuse or repurpose at lease 90% of leftover ingredients for example, herb stalks will be incorporated into ferments and infusions, and a house curd made out of excess steamed milk from the coffee bar.
