FREE Live Jazz every Sunday

THE IVY HOUSE PUB - LIVE JAZZ

Every Sunday afternoon, there will be jazz from ensembles ranging from trios to big bands at this landmark venue, THE IVY HOUSE.

The pub was closed down for redevelopment early in 2012, but members of the local community protested and managed to push it through for listing and is now a Grade II.

Come down and witness a truly remarkable milestone in British local community history, a pub run by the locals. The selection of real pump ales are astonishing, plus the bottled ales, wines etc.

All Sunday Lunch music is FREE ENTRY

The Ivy House 40 Stuart Road, Nunhead

Peckham Levels: Gal Cal

Do you feel lonely? Hell, we do!

Over 9 million people in the UK – almost a fifth of the population – say they are often or always lonely, but almost two-thirds feel uncomfortable admitting to it (British Red Cross and Co-Op, 2016).

We are more connected than ever before.

So why are we in this loneliness epidemic.

You can text a friend in seconds, see what your friends are up to and create WhatsApp groups but does this really make us feel less lonely?

Let’s talk about it!

TLC - The loneliness collaboration podcast has collaborated with GalCal to bring you the FIRST EVER TLC live podcast recording. We will be diving into the topic of loneliness hosted by illustrators Venus Libido and Natalie Byrne with special guests.

Join us as we come together in our loneliness, open up the conversation and discuss what can be done to end this loneliness epidemic

Tickets: £6.84
