Plastic free shop BYO is expanding

It seems the residents of South East London are keen on shopping plastic-free as Nunhead’s zero waste shop is expanding.

BYO- Bring Your Own, stocks a variety of organic grains, pulses, nuts, dried fruits, pickles, spices oils as well as cleaning products and body care essentials all without the plastic wrapping - encouraging customers to bring their own reusable containers in order to reduce both packaging and food waste (as you just buy what you need).

This new way of shopping has proved popular in Nunhead as BYO have announced they will not only be stocking a wider variety of plastic-free, low impact and eco-friendly products but also another shop!

Just a few doors down BYO will have a second store with a bigger space offering a wider selection of organic produce and ingredients, condiments and daily refills. The store will also focus more on kitchen essentials, bath and beauty products, household items, and cleaning products. BYO is on a mission to try and make this way of shopping as accessible and convenient as possible - it looks like they are succeeding!
