Immersive music and dance workshop

Mountview, one of the UK’s leading drama schools, is working with award-winning South African theatre company Isango Ensemble to present immersive music and dance workshops in Peckham. This is a chance to explore South African performance traditions with world-leading practitioners.

These practical workshops are a celebration of choral singing, self-made music and expressive group dance in an alternative cultural setting. They are led by Isango’s creative team and accompanied by performers from SS Mendi: Dancing the Death Drill and A Man of Good Hope, the company’s productions playing in rep at the Royal Opera House this spring.

Half of the places on every workshop are offered FREE to Southwark residents. These can be booked by phone or in person only. You must be able to prove your eligibility by showing your Southwark Presents card.

Times: 11 am and 2 pm - The workshops repeat in the morning and afternoon, so you can book for both to enjoy music and dance.
