Checking out Peckham Salvage yard

A rummage around at Peckham's vintage market

We were excited to hear Peckham Salvage yard had returned to Copeland Park! It's Peckham's largest vintage market packed out with 40 odd stalls.

We are always on the hunt for a vintage bargain, so last Saturday we went to check it out.

The guys behind this fair are the same guys who run the Hackney flea market. So it is as you would expect; lots of people, banging tunes and an array of very instagramable stalls!

There was a mix of salvaged and unique bits and pieces; vintage/ retro clothing, handmade items, vintage chairs, antique luggage, kitchenalia, old prints, reclaimed industrial fixtures and lots of oddities.

Table and tent coffee had a very busy stall selling delicious cups of coffee, check out their insta here.

Cool stalls we came across were retrobami clothing, little sister rocks vintage clothing  and Nice lamp.

We also met this lovely guy. He is the dude behind Banana Blossom, the Indian Vegan pop up under the big yellow gazebo. Boasting a delicious Vegan Indian curry menu. A lunch of Dal plus curry with rice will cost you a fiver.

You will find Banana Blossom cooking up vegan feasts Fridays and Saturdays down in Copeland Park.

We will keep our eyes peeled for the next round of Peckham Salvage yard (hopefully in the Summer!).
